Reopening of City Hall

In response to the Province's plan to restart BC safely, the City of Quesnel will be reopening City Hall to the public and resuming regular business hours on Monday, June 1, 2020.

Residents and visitors are being urged to limit unnecessary visitation to City Hall, and to utilize alternative methods of communication such as email or phone if possible. Those who must come into City Hall are being asked to continue to follow the directives of the Provincial Health Officer and maintain a physical distance of at least two metres from others at all times.

Occupancy limits have been posted at City Hall. The lobby will hold a maximum of six, while the breezeway will hold a maximum of four visitors. All visitors are being asked to respect the limited amounts of people allotted per space, and to follow the guidelines posted within these areas.

2020 Property Tax payments

The City of Quesnel is asking residents to please take advantage of alternative payment options during this taxation year, and is urging residents to pay their property taxes online through their banking institution or by mail. The City is also asking residents to apply for the Home Owner Grant online at https://ehog.quesnel.ca/.  View all payment options here: www.quesnel.ca/property-taxes.

Please do not visit City Hall if you have:

  • A cough, fever or are experiencing breathing difficulties.
  • Been to an impacted COVID-19 area or have recently travelled internationally.
  • Been in contact with someone from an impacted area or has been exposed.

The City is waiting for further guidance from the Province of BC in regards to other arts and recreation facilities and playgrounds.
