Cycling, walking, the use of wheelchairs and mobility aids, roller-skating/in-line skating and skateboarding are some examples of active transportation, or non-motorized human powered transportation.

The Active Transportation Plan guides the City in implementing improvements to our pedestrian and cycling infrastructure to move towards a healthier community for our citizens.  The plan makes a number of recommendations to improve comfort, connectivity and accessibility for people of all ages and abilities.
