The Quesnel River continues to be at risk of approaching or exceeding its banks. The areas at risk of flooding at this time do not include any residential properties. The City of Quesnel and Emergency Management BC (EMBC) are using this opportunity to enlist Tiger Dam specialists to train City and EMBC staff in setting up the tiger dams along the Quesnel River. This ensures more staff are trained should our rivers reach higher levels in the future. The City continues to monitor river levels regularly.
