Likely Steam Shovel & Steam Boiler
A Special Open Council meeting was called to consider the imminent repatriation of the Steam Shovel & boiler from Lhtako Dene Park to the Bullion Pit in Likely, B.C.
Council reversed their May, 2022 decision to work with the Likely Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Association to repatriate the artifacts and directed Staff to move the steam shovel to a temporary location, pending a staff report outlining options for a new permanent location in the Quesnel area.
