Quesnel, BC – On the evening of May 5, a fire broke out at 101 Marsh Drive, a City of Quesnel-owned facility that houses Sprout Kitchen and the Nourish Food Bank, operated by the Canadian Mental Health Association of Northern BC. Thanks to the swift and professional response from the Quesnel Fire Department, the fire was contained and extinguished before it could spread further. We are incredibly grateful to the firefighters and emergency personnel who acted quickly to ensure everyone's safety.
We are relieved to report that no one was injured in the incident. The safety of our team and community partners is always our top priority, and we are thankful that everyone is safe.
At this time, we are assessing the damage and working through the next steps.
We want to thank the community for your support and continued patience as we navigate this difficult time.
