The Utilities Department will be flushing fire hydrants in the following areas, from 8 am to 4:30 pm:
- South Quesnel - October 16 and 17
- Uplands and Baker Drive - October 16, 17, 20 and 21
- Johnston and Carson Subdivisions - October 20 to 22
Hydrant and water main flushing cause turbidity in the City’s water system. Residents should expect and be prepared for discoloured water. If you experience this, leave a cold water tap, such as a bathtub faucet, running until the water returns to normal.
