QUESNEL, B.C. – The City of Quesnel encourages residents and visitors to become more familiar with the services available at the Quesnel Regional Airport.

Of course when the airport is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is air passenger service. Quesnel is fortunate to have three scheduled flights per weekday to and from Vancouver, with one on Saturday and two on Sunday through the carrier Central Mountain Air. You can even book your flight using Air Miles.

There are, however, many other opportunities at the airport that people may not be aware of. For example, there are a number of land leasing opportunities for air and non-air related operations. The lots are in varying sizes, are within City limits and close to the downtown core.

The airport is home to the Quesnel Flying Club and offers a complimentary meeting/operation room. There’s also a flight school provided by Lawrence Aviation.

“There are a lot of reasons to consider using our airport,” says Mayor Nate Bello. “Not only is it a convenient air travel resource, but there are business opportunities as well. A vital airport is a critical component of a prosperous, diverse community.”

For more information about the airport, please contact the airport manager, Harlene Hunt at 250.992.2208.
