QUESNEL, B.C. – There’s yet another reason to fly out of Quesnel Regional Airport in your travels, the City of Quesnel’s Airport Manager announced today.
Harlene Hunt says Central Mountain Air has joined the AIR MILES Reward Program as a preferred Airline Supplier. That means you can now redeem your AIR MILES reward miles when flying with Central Mountain Air.
Redemption mileages for Central Mountain Air will follow the new AIR MILES Flight Reward Program. This includes discounts available during the low season. Seven-day advance purchase and a Saturday night stay are required to use Air Miles.
“The AIR MILES announcement just adds to the reasons people should fly out of Quesnel for work or play,” said Hunt. “The Quesnel Regional Airport is convenient and accessible and the staff is ready to serve clients in the best fashion possible.”
Hunt added that passengers will save time flying out of Quesnel, that parking is free, and fares are competitive.
Flights leave Quesnel for Vancouver at 9:35 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. Monday to Friday, at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday and at 2:55 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. on Sunday.
Go online to www.airmiles.ca or call 1-888-247-6453 to find out more about the AIR MILES Reward Program, and/or to book a trip. Central Mountain Air passengers using Air Miles now have the flexibility of connecting with not only Air Canada, but WestJet, Canjet, Canadian North Airlines, Harmony Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, American Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Calm Air, Air Labrador, and Lufthansa.
The City of Quesnel has owned and operated the airport since April 1, 1997. It is run under the City’s Public Works umbrella.
