Homeowner grant applications are submitted directly to the province. Residents in Quesnel no longer apply through their municipal office.The eligibility criteria for the program remain the same.

- Speak with an agent, call toll-free at 1-888-355-2700, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, excluding statutory holidays
- You will need your Social Insurance Number and your tax notice
A 10% penalty will be added to 2022 current property taxes outstanding and unclaimed home owners grant after Monday, July 4 at 4 pm
These penalties are a requirement of the community charter. The City has no authority to waive or modify these penalty amounts. A payment that is one day late is subject to the same penalty as a payment that is 6 months late.
You can reduce your penalties by claiming your home owner grant even if you are not making a payment on your taxes. Unclaimed grants are considered outstanding taxes.
